The second service of the Éyon platform: meal ordering and delivery. Restaurant catalogue, basket, payment, real-time order tracking and messaging with the restaurant.

After mobility, Éyon adds meal delivery. The bet made from the very first version — a multi-service platform rather than a taxi app — had to prove itself here.
A service grafted on, not bolted on
The header, the wallet, the navigation bar and the component system are those of the taxi service. Users don’t switch apps: they switch aisles. What changes is the nature of the content — a restaurant catalogue and a basket, where the taxi offers vehicles and a route.
Only the visual layer differs: food illustrations in the home background, picture-led categories, dish photos up front. The brand’s gold and black remain the structure.
The ordering journey
Search and filters, sorting by category, nearby restaurants by area, favourites, restaurant page, product page with or without add-on options, basket, promo code, three-step delivery address, invoice summary, payment.
I designed the dead ends as carefully as the main path: no search results, order refused by the restaurant, choosing between emptying the basket, keeping it or paying. On this kind of service, users who give up almost always do so on one of those screens.
Waiting as a design problem
The core of the work happens after payment. An order with no news for twenty minutes is an order you start to doubt.
Hence a detailed tracking timeline — order received, confirmed, being prepared, out for delivery — each step time-stamped to the minute. The order number stays visible at all times, the delivery address is repeated under the timeline, and the restaurant can be reached directly by call or message from that screen.
Courier tracking, order history, past invoices and meal ratings complete the journey.
What this module validated
Designing a second service on an existing foundation is a different exercise from the first: the constraint is no longer the blank page, it’s consistency. Every screen had to be instantly recognisable as Éyon while following the conventions expected of a delivery app — a field where user habits are already shaped by international players.
